I cut outer sill at the top where it joins the door step and to my horror the rust looked like something you find on a beach and been washed daily in salt water, Ah well looks like i've got some work to do.The smaller picture is a bitmap drawing of the 3 sills cross section i will draw a bigger one in time, the middle sill is the heavy structual one it's the only one that goes the full length.

Starting
Hello all. I have been putting off doing my sills on my 1966 sV for years and now is the time. The only thing is I dont know what i am doing........any input from anyone would be appreciated.. Just started my passenger side
sill because it's the worse side, It's not the most amount of rust that ever fell out of a sill ,but it favverd it, just abit gutted at the moment, The previous botch up consists of pop riveted metal a lot of resin and filler. How bad could it get?.... Ah well it's going to be challenging but i intend to photo it all and blog it as i go, not because i know what i am doing but because there's not alot of information on this topic. I have a realy good example of a car in need of sills
